THE FILM

A generation of the diaspora came back to Ghana with laptops and capital and a question — and found a city already building. We filmed the meeting.

Since the Year of Return, Accra has become a meeting point: diaspora homecomers with new tools and outside money, and a local creative-tech scene that was never waiting to be saved. We move through the recording studios, the co-working spaces, and the December crowds, asking what actually gets made when a culture's children come home — and who gets to decide what home becomes.
